TREMBLING HIGH WAYS THREATENS PUBLIC “Crossing road has become absolute panic”

Chennai, kamarajar sallai highways find to be busy with high number of vehicles, and has the proud of official passing by, but the other way the road considered to be a life thread for people, who use this  road to go opposite site, where the largest beach Marina located, Speaking to a passerby said that the amount of people who get in to trouble are more in while crossing road, especially on weekends and précised festivals, continued, saying that authorities must take a right action to solve this problem, here there are hundreds of police stand on the road side and the traffic police who stand on signals are only active during certain hours like 9 to 10.30am and evening 4.30 to 5.30pm and rarely, if they get an intimation stating some official are going to come. Otherwise they are not bothered about publics aghast to help them over. When I asked about him, why can’t the subway is used? Then he replied saying, the subways are not maintained properly, since there are drainage wastes and no security for the public especially ladies, and complained further subway is not available in all signals, so people make a wrong choice to pass the road easily and get into trouble. More over he concluded saying people must understand the value of life and wait for the signal to pass the road. And public authorities must provide public safe, hence this road reflects on large number of accidents.
