Men's hostel suffers out of congested space:

 Chennai, The great university of madras P.G hostel suffers out congested space, the hostel located at marina campus opposite to the marina beach, the hostel was built during 1961, and architected by Sri. n.p. Chandavarakar, then after inaugurated by sri.Bishnuram medhi. Now, the condition of the hostel is being messed due to the number of students that is being allotted in the rooms. Here the student from the hostel says that, the hostel can only accommodate 120 students but the right now condition gone up to 180, which is huge in number and the hostel, is being celebrated the fiftieth anniversary on September 8th of this year. This special hostels is being old and have number of complaints from students as the iron furniture are being rusted and the chairs in the rooms are broken due to the continuous usage of the materials, during the raining season there is a leakage in some of the rooms says the student. These problems were complained to the warden, but no necessary solutions have been drawn out till now by the higher authorities. The hostel is also located near to the university Guest house; the students from the hostel say that the crowd of students can be settled, if the authorities concerned do the right solution to solve the student’s plea.
